west plains silencer sells for $25,000 for 1/2 share to stavely park Poll Merino stud, stavely vic. West plains will retain 50% semen marketing rights.
West Plains Silencer is an exceptional young sire. He is ET bred by West Plains Mercenary who was Sydney Royal Supreme Exhibit 2015. Silencer has been used in studs in four states. His dam Erin x East Strathglen 126 cut 12.2kg as hogget.

His fleece tests are 18.1 Micron, 2.8 SD, 14.8 CV, and 99.9 CF%. He carries a wonderful bright, extremely crimpy fine medium wool that is long stapled.
Silencer weighs 122 kg, 43.5 EMA and 4.5 FAT after being joined to 120 ewes this season. His lambs are outstanding showing great bone, size and perfect structure.

Hinesville Two Up won the Champion Sale Ram at Dubbo National. He went on to win the Supreme Exhibit of the show.
​
Two Up was the NSW Ram of the Year and competed in the Australian Ram of the Year.
​
The next day, Two Up was sold for $10,000 to J Jamieson, Edithvale Stud, Finley NSW.

We won the Grand Champion Medium Wool Ram (horned or polled) with Hinesville Two Up. Judge Michael Gough of Argentina awarded us a special hand loomed ribbon that is usually awarded to the Grand Champion Ram of Argentina.
